  1. Why do I require an incoming phone plan?
    You do not get charged for incoming calls if you have an "Unlimited Incoming Plan" with your cellular carrier. We make your outgoing calls unlimited through this feature.

  2. What if I have My Fave or My 5?
    We can give you a callthru number you can add as one of your My Fave numbers.  Then you will be able to call anyone depending on the plan that you choose. You will no longer be limited to only 5, 10 or 20 friends.

    There are 2 ways to use the service, depending on your current cellphone plan (Unlimited Incoming, MyFave or My5).

    1. Dial access number 647-723-6460, you will hear a busy tone (response busy signal), hang up and wait for the callback (from 1-866-577-6220).
    (Even though it was either an Outgoing or/and a Long Distance call for you, because the call didn't go through, you are NOT charged for this call)

    2. Once you receive the callback, enter the phone number that you wish to call, or if you hear an automated voice just follow the instruction on how to complete the call.

    3. The system connects the call for you.

    4. You now enjoy unlimited local and long distance calls with this service.

    Yes, you can.
    BUT your carrier will charge you roaming fees! We NEVER recommend you make calls out of your local calling area.

  9. Can I call local and long distance?

  10. I dialed the callback number, I waited, but my phone doesn't ring. What should I do?
    Remove the Privacy / Call Block feature from your cell phone. When you call us, our servers must be able to recognize your cell number to verify that you are a subscriber. If your call shows Private Number or Unavailable, it will not recognize you as being a subscriber. Dial *82 prior to dialing the local access callback number to show your number to our server. (Note: When the system calls you back, never press the send or # key after entering the number you want to call)

    If you want to have your phone number blocked, you will only have to prefix the number you are calling with 000 to hide caller ID, in exactly the same way as *67 as a prefix on many systems. For example, to call out after receiving the callback dialtone, you would dial 000416-123-4567. That would hide your caller ID to 416-123-4567.

  11. Will I be charged on my cellphone bill for using your service?
    When you receive a callback and you are within your local calling area, you will not be charged.  If you are outside your local area, your service provider may charge you long distance fees or roaming charges.

  12. How does your service know to call me back?
    When you place your order, we will register your phone number with our system.  When you call, our system recognizes your phone number and calls you back. Please ensure your phone number is not blocked.

  13. What if I miss the callback to me?
    Simply call the number back and try again. You should receive a callback within 5-10 seconds of hanging up. If you do not receive a call within that time, the system was unable to reach you. This could mean you were either on a call, there was a poor signal or your number was blocked when you called our system.

  14. What number appears when I am making calls using GetFreeAirtime.com callback feature?
    Your number will still appear.

  15. What charges will I incur with my cellular provider while using your service?
    All the calls you place using GetFreeAirtime.com callback service will appear to your cellular provider as incoming calls. As long as you have Unlimited Incoming, you will not be charged. You will continue to pay for your monthly plan or pay as you go minutes. Any roaming or airtime charges applicable through your current contract will also be billed by your cellular provider.

    This is the local calling area covered by your cell phone provider.  Your cellular provider can provide you the exact details of your local coverage area (or home area).

  18. Can I use my phonebook so that I will not have to manually enter numbers?
    At the moment Yes/No. If your phone supports DTMF Dialing or Sending of Tones, you can use that when you access your address book. (Please check your phone manual).

    Here are some brands that support the use of the phone book when making calls through our service: Nokia, Motorola, iPhone.

    Alternatively, we are currently testing a speed dial service, where you will have pre-programmed people you can call directly out to. When this is ready, it will be provided at no cost to our customers.

  19. What makes your service better than others?
    We do NOT use VOIP (Voice Over IP) to connect you to your friends and family.  We use DID lines (regular phone lines)
    What that means is that you get the same quality sounds or better, as if you had called out yourself.

    Other providers use VOIP and also have a limit on your monthly usage (around 500mins to 1000mins)

  20. How to cancel my subscription?
    Log-in to your paypal account, and cancel your subscription from Paypal administrative options. Paypal will send us a notification that you cancelled your subscription. Or you can notify us through contact support that you are cancelling your subscription.
